¿What does the Ean Exchange Program consist of?
It is a program that allows international students to study one or two academic semesters at Ean University. This program will allow students to strengthen their international professional profile, becoming acquainted with the culture and educational system of Colombia.
Programs
You can choose one of the exchange programs below:
International On-site Exchange
This program enables the student to study one or two semesters at Ean University, depending on the home institution and program. It is possible to study a maximum of 21 academic credits.
International Virtual Exchange
This program enables the student to study one or two semesters of virtual programs at Ean University, depending on the home institution and program. It is possible to study a maximum of 21 academic credits.
eMOVIES Program
The virtual student mobility program, developed by the Inter-American Organization for Higher Education (IOHE), is a student exchange program in which students from participating eMOVIES higher education institutions can study 100% virtual courses at Ean University.
PILA Virtual
It promotes the virtual student exchange in order to enrich their academic, professional and comprehensive education. Besides, it seeks to encourage the internationalization of higher education and strengthen the ties of academic cooperation between Colombia, Mexico and Argentina.
Explora Program
This program is held within the framework of the CCYK network and is an on-site exchange for students from Colombian universities who want to study at Ean University for a semester.
Application process
Step-by-Step guide to apply for the program
1. Nomination
Check here that your home university and the Ean University are partners in one of the academic programs. Also, remember to check directly with the internationalization office of your home university and verify how you can apply to carry out the process.
2. Application
Once your home university approves your submission, you must apply to Ean University at the following link and attach the following documentation:
- Academic transcripts
- Curriculum Vitae
- Letter of motivation
- Identity document
- Photography
- Certificate of Spanish language proficiency - Level B1 (for students from non-Spanish speaking countries)
3. Admission
Once we receive your application, we will check if you meet the call's requirements. We will evaluate your application and send you and your home university the letter of admission to the academic exchange.Once the academic offer of the Ean University is published, we will share the course catalog and the homologation format so that it can be filled out by your home university.
4. Enrollment
International on-site exchange program: You must send the following documentation to Ean University:
- Copy of the visa*
- International Medical Insurance
- Copy of travel tickets (Check with the Mobility and Global Projection Coordination, what are the official days of arrival, before buying your travel tickets).
- Support document or address of your place of residence in Bogotá
- Approved recognition of qualifications format
*You should check with the International Relations Office of your university if you need a visa to travel to Colombia for study purposes.Virtual Exchange, Emovies program or Explora program: You must send the following documentation to Ean University:
- Approved recognition of qualifications format
Note: It is mandatory to send the documents before traveling
5. Arrival to Colombia and start of classes
You will receive the instructions for the start of classes and academic development, and you must follow the instructions given by the Internationalization and Institutional Relations Department of Ean University.
