Greg Guthrie, bio

Dr. Greg Guthrie is a professor and Dean Emeritus of the School of Mathematics and Computer Science at Maharishi University of Management. He received his Doctorate degree from Purdue University at school of theoretical Mechanics & Astronautics in 1978. He has been teaching in the graduate program in the areas of programming languages and systems, software design patterns and frameworks, and formal methods for software definition and applications for over 30 years. Dr. Guthrie¿s research interests include programming languages, teaching of computer science, Functional and Object Oriented languages and programming, computer systems architecture, and parallel processing. His professional experience varies from designing the new Unix systems at Bell laboratories to Consultant at top IT companies such as Hewlett Packard, AT&T and IBM.
